Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily bakery production activities, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing of baked products
- Manage production scheduling to meet demand forecasts while minimizing waste
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce variability, and enhance product quality
- Supervise and develop production teams, promoting teamwork, safety compliance, and continuous skill development
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the production cycle, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality benchmarks
- Utilize Excel data analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements
- Complete weekly product orders
Skills
- Proven experience in production management in a bakery environment with strong leadership capabilities
- Deep understanding of process improvement techniques, and continuous improvement strategies
- Expertise in baking, mixing, and knowledge of production planning, and scheduling to ensure seamless operations from raw materials to finished goods
- Mechanical knowledge related to bakery equipment maintenance and assembly processes
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and teams
- Knowledge of quality control standards specific to food manufacturing or bakery products
