Join our growing team as a Truck Driver!
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks to transport freight efficiently across the country. Your expertise in driving, load management, and vehicle safety will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer. Trips are usually Monday-Friday.
- Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery logs, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with our office and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Knowledge of Electronic Log Device (ELD) preferred.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations.
- Familiarity with automatic and manual transmission trucks is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking, including hours of service and load securement standards.
- Ability to handle various types of freight.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and customer service.
