American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Oncology for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Outpatient oncology clinic setting within a cancer center
-
Covers medical oncology and hematology oncology as part of a clinical coverage pool
-
Works closely with the chemotherapy infusion room team but does not directly administer infusion therapies
-
8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
-
No weekends, no on-call, and no major holiday requirements
-
Floating is not required
-
Charge nurse duties are not required
-
Active CT RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Oncology nursing experience required

Outpatient ambulatory and outpatient clinic experience required

ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card preferred but not required

Ability to lift and restrain patients as needed

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities include phone triage, patient care problem-solving, and collaboration with the clinical team

May be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis as part of the unit staff rotation to ensure coverage
