Job Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Restaurant Service Maintenance Technician to keep our kitchen and dining areas running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing essential equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both staff and guests. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new kitchen equipment and appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems, and other mechanical components to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, report issues promptly, and coordinate repairs with vendors or internal teams.
- Support construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise to ensure proper setup and integration of new systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair in commercial settings.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with Management, staff and vendors.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly and have a safe and clean driving record.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
