Qualifications
- Minimum 17 years of age
- Must be able to maintain focus for long periods of time
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required
- Commitment to safety
- Must be able to meet physical demands of position

Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 5:20a - 1:20p
- Part-time positions available as well (mornings/weekends)
Core Work
Safety
- Correct or report all safety concerns immediately to ensure safety of all patrons and staff
- Actively lifeguard as needed, enter water and respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Enforce all facility rules and report safety violations to appropriate supervisor
- Attend required in-service and other mandatory safety trainings
Pool Operations & Cleaning
- Check pool chemicals at specified times during shift and report any issues immediately
- Ensure that pools, spa, locker rooms, gym, building, and deck areas are safe and clean
- Assist coaches, lesson instructors, and other staff in setting up spaces for workouts, rentals and events
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the building
- Frequent sitting, standing, scrubbing, and lifting up to 50lb may be required
