We’re growing fast and are looking for a Parts & Accessory Fitment Specialist who shares our enthusiasm for powersports and takes pride in helping customers get the most out of their machines.
Position Overview
The Parts & Accessory Fitment Specialist is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with selecting, fitting, and installing OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories for motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs. This role bridges the gap between the showroom, parts counter, and service department—helping riders customize their machines and ensuring every product fits perfectly and performs flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and online with parts and accessory inquiries.
- Provide expert recommendations for parts compatibility, performance upgrades, and aesthetic customization.
- Verify fitment using manufacturer catalogs, online tools, and in-house systems.
- Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure timely installation and accurate work orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked parts and accessories area.
- Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims.
- Stay current on product lines, technical specifications, and new releases.
- Participate in showroom displays, promotions, and merchandising of accessories.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in powersports, automotive, or mechanical parts sales preferred.
- Strong understanding of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and related products.
- Ability to read and interpret fitment charts, parts diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency (dealer management systems, online catalogs, Microsoft Office).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license (motorcycle endorsement a plus).
