Paradise Pet Hotel & Day Spa is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and animal-loving Kennel Technician to join our team!
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and providing excellent care for dogs in a busy boarding and daycare environment.

We offer a unique and consistent rotating 2-2-3 schedule designed to provide our team members with a great work-life balance.
Your schedule will rotate as follows:
This means that one week you will work 2 days and have 5 days off, and the following week you will work 5 days with 2 consecutive days off.
Shifts are 12 hours long, including a 1.5-hour break, making your actual working time approximately 10.5 hours per shift.
The rotating schedule provides consistency while also giving you multiple days off throughout the month for appointments, errands, family time, travel, or simply enjoying your days away from work.
Kennel Technician Responsibilities
As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for helping provide a safe, clean, organized, and enjoyable environment for the pets in our care. Responsibilities include:
- Feeding dogs according to individual feeding instructions
- Providing fresh water throughout the day
- Taking dogs outside for bathroom breaks and exercise
- Supervising dogs during individual and group activities
- Working in doggy daycare and safely managing playgroups
- Monitoring dog behavior, health, appetite, stool, and overall well-being
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, runs, daycare areas, dishes, bedding, and common areas
- Preparing boarding areas for arriving pets
- Moving dogs safely throughout the facility
- Helping with laundry, dishes, trash, and general facility cleaning
- Communicating concerns regarding pets to supervisors and management
- Following all safety, sanitation, feeding, medication, and animal-handling procedures
- Assisting other departments and team members when needed

- Pays attention to detail and follows instructions
- Understands that cleaning is a major part of professional animal care
- Is willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Can handle a physically active position that includes standing, walking, bending, lifting, cleaning, and handling dogs throughout the day
Experience working with animals is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
