Position Summary
The Regional Manager of Dental Hygiene oversees the clinical performance, operational efficiency, and professional development of dental hygiene teams across multiple dental practices. This role ensures consistent delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements, and achievement of organizational goals related to patient experience, productivity, and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to dental hygienists across multiple practice locations.
- Standardize clinical protocols, infection prevention procedures, and evidence-based hygiene practices.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and evaluate dental hygiene staff.
- Support Practice Managers with stay interviews and accountability.
- Conduct regular office visits to assess clinical quality, workflow, and team performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Hygiene production
- Periodontal treatment acceptance
- Recall effectiveness
- Patient retention
- Provider productivity
- Partner with practice managers and dentists to improve operational performance and patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, state dental board regulations, and company policies.
- Identify training needs and coordinate continuing education programs.
- Support implementation of new technologies, equipment, and clinical initiatives.
- Collaborate on staffing plans, and scheduling strategies.
- Sub clinically in offices when necessary.
- Investigate and resolve patient concerns related to hygiene services.
- Prepare performance reports and present findings to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing.
- 5–10 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
- 2–5 years of leadership or multi-site management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of periodontal therapy, preventive dentistry, and clinical quality standards.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between practice locations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
