Job Overview
Nedd & Joi LLC is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented cleaner to help maintain an Airbnb property, warehouse space, and occasionally other residential locations in Bakersfield.
The primary responsibility will be preparing our Airbnb between guest stays. Because Airbnb bookings are not on a fixed schedule, workdays and weekly hours will vary. When the Airbnb does not require cleaning, additional hours may be available assisting with warehouse cleaning, organization, laundry, restocking, and other light cleaning duties.
This position is best for someone who has a flexible schedule, communicates well, and takes pride in leaving spaces clean, organized, and ready for use.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare the Airbnb between guest stays
- Change bedding and towels
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock toiletries, cleaning products, and guest supplies
- Check the property for damage, missing items, or maintenance issues
- Take photos and report problems after cleanings
- Perform periodic deep-cleaning projects
- Clean warehouse bathrooms, floors, break areas, and workspaces
- Organize cleaning supplies and inventory
- Occasionally clean other residential locations
- Travel between nearby Bakersfield work locations when needed
- Complete other light cleaning and facilities-related tasks
Schedule
The normal Airbnb cleaning window is between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The schedule will vary depending on guest bookings. Some weeks may have more hours than others. Availability may be needed on weekdays, weekends, and occasionally holidays.
Advance notice will be provided whenever possible, but the ideal candidate should be comfortable with a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable following a written cleaning checklist
- Able to communicate by phone and text
- Dependable transportation
- Able to travel between Bakersfield locations
- Able to lift and carry cleaning supplies, laundry, and household items
- Able to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties
- Professional cleaning, hotel, housekeeping, or Airbnb experience is preferred but not required
