As a switcher with Stone Transport you will be responsible for monitoring the 4 scrap chutes at the LRS or LGR plant. Trailers are loaded by the switcher then tarped. You must be proficient in backing up tandem and multi axle trailers and pay close attention to safety and must maintain a clean work area.
Shift will be Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am; Expect frequent weekends.
Equipment:
- Heavy Duty Tractors/Trailers manual 13/18 speed.
- 40FT Steel Dump Trailers
- 48FT Walking Floor Aluminum Trailers
The Ideal Yard Switching Candidate must be able to:
- Work assigned schedule
- Work overtime, including weekends, if needed
- Pass pre-employment background checks.
Full-Time Year Around Work
Pay Structure:
- Hourly pay + OT after 40hrs
- Expected 40-56 hours/week
- Weekly Paychecks

Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid CDL-A.
- End Dump trailer experience preferred.
- Heavy equipment experience preferred.
- Must be able to back into tight spaces.
Wage Range: 900.00 - 1540.00 per week
