Schedule:
All shifts will be between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM ranging 6 to 8 hours at a time. On a weekly basis 30 hours a week is guaranteed with the opportunity to be 40 hours a week.
On call: Must be able to work 8:00 AM-5:30 PM during special occasions. Regular shifts will be 8:30am to 3ish or 10am to 5:30pm
*Must be able to start by the middle of September at the latest.
Job Description
*Applicant will help lead teacher provide a fun and exciting play based curriculum incorporating literacy, creative art, science, math and social skills.
*Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for children and families.
*Ability and confidence to supervise and guide a group of children (1-5 years) on their own.
*Ability to help with animal husbandry for future preschool fur babies.
*Ability to cook healthy vegan meals and follow safe food handling techniques.
*Applicant must be physically capable of lifting and cleaning efficiently.
Job Requirements:
*Minimum age 18
*Have a high school diploma or equivalent
*Able to clear a background check
*Negative TB test
*Basic 30 hours STARS or equivalent (Can be completed upon hire--within 3 months of start date)
*Ongoing STARS hours as mandated by state requirements
*Valid First Aid and CPR training (Can be completed upon hire)
*Bloodborne Pathogens training (Can be completed upon hire)
*Valid Washington State Food handlers Card (Can be completed upon hire)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.13 - $21.50 per hour
