We are seeking an experienced Collision Center General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy collision repair facility. This role is responsible for driving shop performance, leading and developing the team, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and maintaining efficient production throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance operational execution, financial performance, and employee engagement while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Duties
- Monitor daily repair activity and review incoming work to ensure proper scheduling and workflow management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility environment
- Lead daily production discussions to review repair status, priorities, and shop objectives
- Assign work to technicians and oversee repair progression to ensure timely vehicle completion
- Support the estimating process and assist with repair planning when needed
- Review completed repair orders for accuracy and ensure proper closure of all files
- Track key business metrics, including sales performance, receivables, and outstanding credits
- Oversee timekeeping, payroll review, and other personnel-related administrative functions
- Drive customer satisfaction initiatives and maintain performance metrics in line with company expectations
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to maximize shop performance and profitability
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate employees in a production-driven environment
- Experience managing employee performance and holding team members accountable
- Prior leadership role within a collision repair facility
- Strong understanding of estimating, repair planning, and shop operations
- Familiarity with CCC ONE or similar collision management software preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
