Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other specialty beverages to company standards
- Warm, plate, and present bakery items according to brand guidelines
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment
- Maintain knowledge of the full menu and seasonal offerings
- Greet customers, take orders, and handle cash/credit transactions using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and customer areas
- Restock cups, utensils, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setup
- Collaborate with team members and support back-of-house operations when needed
- Provide friendly, efficient service and resolve customer concerns with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Previous barista, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for coffee, food, and customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
