Key Responsibilities:
- Specialized Transport: Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations regionally around the Atlanta hub and across OTR lanes.
- Load Securement: Expertly secure high-value event cargo using load bars and straps to guarantee zero transit damage.
- Equipment Care: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and perform basic routine maintenance (fueling, checking fluids).
- Compliance: Maintain accurate digital logs/documentation and adhere strictly to D.O.T. drug screening and safety protocols.
Position Requirements:
- License: Valid, active CDL Class A.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Skills: Proven proficiency with load securement (straps/bars) and a clean, manageable MVR.
- Location: Must live in or near the Greater Atlanta area for dispatch.
- Physical Ability: Able to sit for extended periods, handle long event hours, and lift up to 50 lbs during inspections or loading assistance.
