Responsibilities
- Washing & Sanitizing: Clean all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans either by hand or using an dish machine.
- Kitchen Organization: Sort and stack clean dishes, returning them to their designated storage areas.
- Sanitation & Cleaning: Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, walls, and storage shelves. Change out dishwater regularly to maintain health standards.
- Waste Management: Empty, clean, and bag trash throughout at the end of the shift.
- Prep & Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks or cleaning up spills as requested.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, like 8-hour shift.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: experience is preferred.
- Compliance: Basic knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
- Teamwork: communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
