The Daughters of Charity, provides a safe, welcoming home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity Ministries. We offer independent living, assisted living and memory care and our team plays a vital role in creating an environment where Sisters feel respected.
We are currently seeking a Full Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our Sister-residents, visitors and staff on our campus. This role reports to the Facilities Director.
What You'll Do

Maintain general building interior including all assigned spaces including offices, rooms, parlors and other Sister-resident spaces.

Trash Removal.

Perform commercial and personal laundry duties.

Clean and sanitize non-public bathrooms.

Maintain guest rooms for visitors.

Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the maintenance and care teams.

Follow infection control, safety and standard precaution guidelines.

Be attentive to detail and consistent in completing assigned tasks.

Respect Sister-resident privacy and maintain professionalism and discretion at all times.

Be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedules.

Experience in housekeeping, environmental services or custodial work (healthcare or senior living preferred)
Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, some weekends and holidays required
Physical Demands: Must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of the position, which may involve the following: standing and walking over 2/3 of the day, lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, reaching, and stooping for 1/3 to 2/3 of the day.
