Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Perform field repairs, breakdown service, and scheduled maintenance
- Work on excavators, dozers, loaders, and similar construction equipment
- Operate and maintain a service truck
- Perform equipment inspections and document work completed
- Coordinate with supervisors and field crews to keep equipment running
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of service truck experience
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience working on multiple types of heavy equipment
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Must follow all safety procedures and maintain situational awareness
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
