Clifton Springs Internal Medicine is seeking an experienced, organized, and collaborative Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy outpatient practice. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys building strong relationships with providers and staff, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences.
As the Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the practice while supporting physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, medical assistants, and front office personnel. You will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, improving workflows, and ensuring high-quality patient care through efficient practice management.
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of Clifton Springs Internal Medicine.
- Provide leadership and support to physicians, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, nursing staff, medical assistants, and medical secretaries.
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient office procedures and workflows.
- Partner with providers to improve practice operations, solve problems, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, payroll, and daily administrative functions.
- Ensure efficient utilization of staff, equipment, and other practice resources.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, providers, leadership, and other departments.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, exceptional customer service, and patient-centered care.
- Support compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in a physician practice or ambulatory healthcare setting.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience with computerized patient scheduling systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while working independently.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and CPT coding.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with physician billing and revenue cycle operations.
- Experience developing and managing departmental budgets.
- Experience with MEDITECH and LSS systems.
- Outpatient registration or admissions experience.
