Attorney – General Practice Law Firm
A growing general practice law firm is seeking a skilled Attorney to assist with civil litigation, probate, real estate matters, legal malpractice, and medical malpractice cases. This role does not require on-site presence at our Augusta office. The attorney has to be able to attend courts in the Augusta, Maine and surrounding areas. Office space is available if the attorney would like to work at the Augusta, Maine location.

Responsibilities
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Assist with hearings and, if qualified, appear in court
- Communicate and collaborate with supervising attorneys
- Help move cases efficiently toward resolution
- Experience in Westlaw
Qualifications
- Licensed in Maine and in good standing (required)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Trial or courtroom experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly
- Strong communication and responsiveness

- Full- Time, and/or Part-Time.
- On-site at our Augusta office

Compensation
- $65 – $150.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Opportunity to expand role and rate over time
