Job Summary
Coastal Creations is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee new construction and renovation projects from start to finish. This role requires someone who can independently manage timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and client communication with minimal oversight. We're looking for a seasoned professional who can step in and take ownership of active projects right away.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of new construction and renovation projects
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and material orders
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and on-site crews
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout each project
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Identify and resolve issues or delays before they impact timelines or budgets
- Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and permits
- Travel to job sites across NJ
Experience
- Must be 25 or older
- 5+ years of experience managing residential construction or renovation projects/teams
- Proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction methods
- Excellent communication and client-management skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability managing teams in a construction management role; excellent leadership skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
- Deep understanding of construction regulations, permits, contracts, and compliance standards across various jurisdictions.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; translating plans into actionable tasks.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
