Laser Technician

Direct Hire/ Mon-Thurs/ 1st or 2nd shift.

Position Overview:
A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking a Laser Technician to join its production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing laser cutting equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are consistently achieved.

What You’ll Do as a Laser Technician:
· Set up and operate laser cutting equipment for a variety of materials and production requirements.
· Retrieve, edit, and adjust machine programs as needed to support production goals.
· Verify part quality through blueprint interpretation and precision measurement techniques.
· Monitor machine performance and make process adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
· Troubleshoot equipment and process issues while working closely with production leadership.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives through process documentation and standardization.
· Maintain calibration of tools, gauges, and inspection equipment.
· Train and mentor operators on equipment operation, best practices, and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Technical training or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred.
· Experience operating laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Familiarity with quality inspection equipment and manufacturing processes.
· Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills.
· Ability to thrive in a team-oriented production environment.
