A reputable east-valley law firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal. We are looking for an organized self-starter with at least 3 years of Bankruptcy Paralegal experience. This position requires exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) and stellar attention to detail. The ideal candidate must also be an independent problem solver, who can manage a case from start to finish with minimal supervision. Salary is DOE with excellent employee benefits.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years Creditor’s Rights Bankruptcy experience in a Paralegal role.
- Well versed in Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 filings.
- Provide comprehensive bankruptcy case support by conducting client intake, gathering financial documentation, preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions, pleadings, and other legal documents, maintaining case files, and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
- Coordinate case administration and client communication by managing calendars and court schedules, communicating with clients, creditors, trustees, and court personnel, supporting attorneys during court proceedings, and maintaining confidentiality while adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
- Tech savvy and competent in Microsoft Office and online filing.
- Must be comfortable working in a paper-lite environment and handling electronic files.
- Familiarity with document management software and time and billing software preferred.
