POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring gas station is fully stocked, well-maintained, and in full working order while providing excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

A. JOB DUTIES
1. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Assures procedures operate within the framework of organizational goals and objectives.
2. OPERATIONS: Responsible for complete station operations in the absence of the Station Manager.
3. CASH AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Totals purchases, collects payments in the form of cash or credit cards by using a computerized cash register and credit card machine. Reconciles cash drawer and safe at end of shift and prepares daily deposits. Ensures store is properly stocked and performs end of shift cigarette sales reconciliation.
4. PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS REQUIRED: Performs a variety of general duties, dispensing of propane, ordering, restocking products, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and other routine functions.

D. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
Experience: Must have a minimum of one year work experience. Retail and/or gas station experience is preferred. Must have previous money handling, credit card and cash register experience. Must have general knowledge of accounting procedures.
Licensure/Certification: Must be able to acquire propane certificate within 30-days of hire.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to work cooperatively with others. Must possess the ability to make decisions according to pre-defined guidelines. Must possess a desire to perform at a high level by doing more than required.
Attendance: Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.
English Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
