Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dishwasher and Food Prep team member to join our busy kitchen environment. In this role, you'll be essential in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall food service operation. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about culinary processes while helping deliver excellent hospitality experiences.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health standards.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks.
- Support catering events and banquet setups by preparing ingredients and organizing food stations efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by following proper cleaning protocols regularly.
- Aid in bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours.
- Follow food handling safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support various kitchen operations, including inventory management and restocking supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with basic food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety regulations is a plus.
- Experience with banquet or catering services can be beneficial but is not required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as hotels or restaurants.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and delivering excellent service.
