Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Luxury Condominium Janitor/Porter to maintain the pristine condition and welcoming atmosphere of our upscale residential community. In this vital role, you will ensure all common areas, hallways, lobbies, and amenities are spotless, safe, and inviting for residents and visitors alike. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the luxurious living experience our residents expect. This position offers an engaging opportunity to showcase your custodial skills while supporting a vibrant community environment. Shifts are 1pm -9pm and Weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of common areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and recreational facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, floor buffing, carpet cleaning, window washing, and surface disinfecting to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Operate commercial cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums with safe handling practices.
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs, painting touch-ups in residential units or public areas, and ensuring overall facility upkeep.
- Safely lift and move heavy objects or equipment as needed for cleaning or maintenance tasks while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Support overall facilities maintenance efforts by coordinating with other team members to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for all residents.
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or residential setting preferred.
- Familiarity with chemical agents used in cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
- Experience operating floor buffers, industrial cleaning equipment, or performing heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Background in industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or porter roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safe handling practices for cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
- Prior experience in luxury residential communities or high-end facilities is a plus but not required.
