The Role:
- Summary:
- As an Operating Room (OR) nurse, you will provide crucial care to patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring a safe and efficient environment. Assisting surgeons maintain sterile conditions, administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, fluid balance, and other physiological parameters, managing overall nursing care, providing supplies, and communicating with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure with Alaska State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in Operating Room, experience in outpatient surgery center environment is preferred
- CPR, ACLS, PALS certification
- CNOR certification preferred

- This position is scheduled for approximately 30 hours per week, typically consisting of three 10-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with schedules set in advance. Are you able to meet these scheduling requirements?
