We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting functions. This is a permanent, part-time, in-office position ideal for a recent accounting graduate or someone returning to the workforce who enjoys structured, task-based work.
This role focuses primarily on Accounts Payable and deposit posting while supporting the accounting team as needed.
Responsibilities
- Enter and process vendor invoices (Accounts Payable)
- Post payments and record bank deposits
- Maintain organized documentation
- Assist with basic reconciliations
- Provide general accounting support as needed
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with data entry and routine processes
- Reliable and consistent
- QuickBooks experience helpful, but not required (training provided)
