Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Civil Project Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet technical standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will drive project success, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions that make a real difference.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phases
- Develop detailed project schedules using project management tools and coordinate timelines across teams
- Prepare technical engineering reports, hydrological models, and stormwater management plans
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Drafting tools for schematic development and design documentation
- Conduct construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with clients during permitting phases and manage communication to ensure project alignment with client goals
- Lead team efforts in civil infrastructure design including stormwater systems, water/wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and geotechnical engineering components
Skills
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling, construction management, and civil engineering design processes
- Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), Revit, MicroStation, GIS (ArcGIS), and land surveying techniques
- Experience with hydrological modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM), stormwater management systems, and hydraulics analysis
- Knowledge of permitting processes and managing projects within the construction inspection phase
- Ability to generate comprehensive technical reports and conduct hydrologic/hydraulic analyses
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team leadership in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
