Ashwick Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced Heating Mechanic to handle residential heating installations, replacements, and repairs throughout Long Island.
The Work
- Approximately 50% installations/replacements and 50% repair/service
- Gas and oil boilers
- Gas and oil furnaces
- Hydronic heating systems
- No-heat and heating repair calls
- Target workload of approximately 1–2 completed installs/replacements per week, plus repair work
- Office handles customer intake, photos, preliminary scope, and quoting — no running around to homes just to provide estimates
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with gas and oil heating systems
- Experience with boiler and furnace replacements
- Strong heating troubleshooting and repair ability
- Hydronic heating experience
- Plumbing experience strongly preferred; plumbing license is a major plus
- Electrical and controls troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Able to lead helpers on installations
- Valid driver’s license
- Reasonable on-call and weekend availability

Compensation
- Pay Range: $1,500–$3,000 per week
- Strong earning potential for an experienced, productive heating mechanic
