We are looking for an exceptional individual for our surgery department to function as a Sterile Processing Technician. The Grand Island Surgery Center provides a fun family-oriented atmosphere with competitive wages and benefits program. No night shifts, weekends, or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for cleaning, inspecting, processing, sterilization, and assembling of all instruments following manufacturer Instructions for Use and policy and procedures.
- Performs routine maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Assists with daily and weekly testing and documentation of all mechanical equipment. (i.e. washers, sterilizers)
Skills
- Knowledge of applicable sanitary, infection control, and safety standards sufficient to be able to perform all assignments within the safety parameters.
- Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician is required.
- Able to perform bending, lifting, and washing using decontamination processes, which will include instrument pans, bins, tray, and carts of various sizes.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
