Overview
Paradise Car Wash is looking for a high-level operator to run a location like it’s their own business.
This is not a sit-in-the-office management role. You will be responsible for every aspect of the store’s performance—people, operations, equipment, sales, and culture.
If you can’t lead a team, fix problems on the fly, and perform in a fast-paced, physical environment—this is not the role for you.
What You’ll Own (Core Responsibilities)
1. Daily Operations & Execution
- Run all day-to-day operations of a high-volume car wash
- Ensure fast throughput, high-quality washes, and zero bottlenecks
- Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and brand standards
- Execute opening/closing procedures and daily performance targets
2. Team Leadership & Hiring
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing crew
- Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and positivity
- Coach employees on performance, customer interaction, and sales
- Manage scheduling, labor efficiency, and retention
3. Customer Experience & Culture
- Set the tone for energy, service, and professionalism on-site
- Handle customer issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Paradise brand
- Create a team environment people actually want to work in
4. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive membership sales (VIP plans) and upsells
- Track KPIs: car count, revenue per car, conversion rates
- Execute company marketing offers and community engagement
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and efficiency
5. Equipment & Mechanical Responsibility
- Maintain operational uptime of all wash equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs
- Perform basic maintenance and preventative upkeep
- Ensure chemicals, systems, and wash quality are dialed in
6. Planning & Ownership Mindset
- Plan staffing, inventory, and operations days in advance
- Anticipate busy periods, weather swings, and staffing gaps
- Solve problems before they happen—not after
- Treat the business like it’s yours
What We’re Looking For Non-Negotiables
- Proven leadership experience (management role required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Mechanical aptitude (you don’t need to be a tech, but you can’t be clueless)
- High accountability and ownership mindset
Preferred
- Car wash, automotive, or service-industry experience
- Experience managing teams of 10+ employees
- Track record of hitting sales or performance targets
- Experience with KPIs, reporting, and operational metrics
