Position: Patient Access Rep/ Medical Receptionist
Location: 333 Earle Ovington Blvd Uniondale, NY 11553
Duration: 3 months with extensions
Working Hours: 8am-4pm
PR: $20/hr-$23/hr

Insight Global is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join the team of an outpatient center located in Uniondale, NY! This individual should have experience interacting with patients, collecting copayments, scheduling/rescheduling appointments and follow ups and various other clerical duties. This person should be sharp as they are the first impression of the outpatient center! This person must be self-sufficient, eager to learn and reliable. He/she will be joining an organization with great culture, leadership, and promotional opportunity. Hands-on training will be provided.
Must Haves:
- At least 1 year experience working as a patient access specialist or similar role
- Hands on experience using EPIC EMR System
- Experience obtaining prior authorizations
- Prior experience verifying insurance
- Prior experience handling patient referrals
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Plusses:
- Experience checking in patients for Radiology
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
