Industrial Maintenance Technician
Pay Range: $30-38/ hr. (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays
Multiple Shifts Available!
- 2nd Shift Hours: 3pm - 12pm
- 3rd Shift Hours: 10pm - 7am

Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective parts such as motors, bearings, belts, sensors, valves, pumps, and controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical diagrams.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and support production schedules.
- Inspect, test, and operate equipment after repairs to confirm proper performance and safe operation.
- Install, align, adjust, and assist with setup of new or relocated machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, repairs completed, and equipment conditions.
- Communicate with production, maintenance, and management teams regarding equipment status and repair needs.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment requirements, and safe work practices.
- Keep tools, work areas, and maintenance spaces clean, organized, and in good working conditio
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school, apprenticeship, or related maintenance training preferred.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, pumps, and production machinery.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, diagnostic equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, work orders, and safety instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for entering work orders, documenting maintenance activity, and tracking parts or repairs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting, automated equipment, or industrial controls.
- Welding, fabrication, machining, or millwright experience.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Forklift, scissor lift, or other equipment operation experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, reach, and work in tight or elevated spaces.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Occupational hazards include: Dust, exposure to industrial grade cleaning chemicals, exposure to high noise levels, and exposure to variety of temperatures.
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
