Traveling Superintendent
Are you an experienced Superintendent who thrives on delivering complex projects and enjoys traveling to where the work is? We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent with healthcare construction experience to oversee projects across the Southeast, ensuring safe, high quality, and on time project delivery.
This role is ideal for a hands on construction leader who excels at managing field operations, coordinating trade partners, and maintaining strong client relationships while traveling to some of the region's most impactful healthcare projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.

Manage field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and project logistics.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.

Coordinate daily site operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Oversee construction in active healthcare environments, including infection control and phased construction efforts.

Conduct subcontractor meetings, inspections, and progress updates.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers.

Identify and resolve field challenges proactively to keep projects on track.

Ensure compliance with all project specifications, building codes, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.

Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.

Experience managing ground-up and renovation projects in occupied environments.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast.

Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety procedures, and construction means and methods.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with construction management technology and project reporting tools.
