Job Description Summary:
As a Maintenance Millwright, you will work and collaborate with a team of millwrights, electricians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, and reliability focused maintenance practices. You are responsible for attending and participating in team meetings & trainings, identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues, coordinating activities with production teams to maximize productivity and minimize cost, and reducing waste while proactively addressing reliability concerns.

Work with the team to proactively identify safety issues and take measures to address concerns.

Actively participate in maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work completion

Contribute by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

Lead and ensure compliance with safety initiatives.

Utilize predictive and preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.

Efficiently troubleshoot issues to meet volume and quality goals.

Participate in training processes to build the team's technical skills.

Identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.

Raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching and development.

Utilize computer-based programs to prioritize maintenance requests, maintenance inventory management, and maintenance resource delegation.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of four years' experience in Industrial Mechanical work

Knowledgeable in the areas of hydraulics, air systems, mechanical drives, mechanical components, installation methods, troubleshooting and repair techniques and methods, welding, and basic industrial electrical.

Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods

Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.

Strong planning and organizational skills

Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills

Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programs and internet skills

Knowledge of Maintenance Planning software such as SAP preferred

Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.

Lift and/or pull 50lbs.

Climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.

Willingness to work in various locations and conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces.

Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
