The Chase Dog Club is a small, family-owned dog daycare, hotel, and grooming facility that has been voted one of Anoka County’s best for multiple years. We’ve earned that trust by working hard every day to provide dogs with a safe, clean, and genuinely enjoyable experience.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking people who take initiative without needing constant direction. The right candidate is a self-starter, a team player, and a natural leader who notices what needs to be done—and does it.
What You’ll Do:
- Actively supervise off-leash group play and remain attentive at all times
- Learn canine body language and recognize potential issues before they escalate
- Safely redirect inappropriate behavior and manage group dynamics
- Feed, exercise, clean up after, and care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities
- Clean kennels, playrooms, floors, dishes, bedding, yards, and plenty of bodily fluids
- Follow detailed safety, sanitation, feeding, medication, and handling procedures
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and pet parents
- Work efficiently during busy, loud, and sometimes chaotic shifts
- Take initiative, stay productive, and help wherever needed
- Work assigned weekends and holidays—our dogs depend on us every day
Physical and Work Environment Expectations:
Applicants must understand that this is a physically demanding position. Team members must be able to:
- Remain on their feet and moving for most of the shift
- Frequently bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Safely handle strong, energetic, or excited dogs
- Work around loud barking, dog hair, odors, drool, urine, feces, and cleaning products
- Work indoors and outdoors in changing Minnesota weather
- Maintain focus and urgency throughout shifts

- Availability for a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
No professional animal-care experience is required. We are happy to train the right person from the ground up—but we cannot train work ethic, dependability, or initiative.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience in a kennel, dog daycare, grooming salon, veterinary clinic, shelter, or pet-sitting role
- Understand canine body language and safe group-play practices
- Have experience working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Naturally step up, solve problems, and lead by example
- Don’t flinch at barking, drool, bodily fluids, or mild chaos

Pay, Benefits & Growth Opportunities:
All new team members begin at $15.00 per hour during training. Future pay increases are based on performance, reliability, initiative, leadership, and overall contribution to the team.
