Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Day Shift
Gulfport Care Center | Gulfport, Mississippi
Schedule: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Gulfport Care Center is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to join our nursing team. Our CNAs play an essential role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable, respected, and well cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and other activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs and other required information
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, mobility, and restorative care
- Follow individualized care plans and infection-control procedures
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse
- Accurately document the care and services provided
- Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, safety, and independence
- Work cooperatively with nurses and other members of the care team
Qualifications:
- Current Mississippi CNA certification in good standing
- Dependable attendance and ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Long-term care experience is preferred but not required
