Position Overview:
We are seeking a strong team member with an attitude of ownership to manage-
- Construction and passenger vehicle fleet
- Project material staging
- General facilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a fleet management program to optimize vehicle performance and lifecycle for construction and passenger fleets.
- Collaborate with production team to understand current state of vehicles, ensure proper maintenance, and minimize vehicle downtime for repairs.
- Develop standard operating procedures and methodologies for conditional and preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Manage material inventory for proper project staging.
- Grounds and facilities management.
Preferred Skills, Talents, and Experience:
- Mechanically inclined – Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, light construction vehicles and small engines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial approach to taking ownership of company assets.
- High School Diploma required; degree preferred.
- 5+ years of mechanical experience.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
