Position Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Accounts Sales Support Specialist to join our Strategic Accounts team supporting the automotive aftermarket, tools & equipment, and wholesale distribution industry.
This is a hands-on business support role that partners closely with Strategic Account Managers to manage customer product assortments, pricing, catalogs, customer programs, and sales support activities that drive profitable revenue growth.
The successful candidate will work daily with Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and IT to ensure customer programs are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Important Information
This position is 100% on-site in Lakeland, Florida.
Applicants must currently reside within commuting distance of Lakeland or be willing to relocate prior to employment.
Remote work, hybrid schedules, and employment sponsorship are not available for this position.

What You'll Do
- Support Strategic Account Managers with customer programs, proposals, RFP responses, pricing requests, new customer implementations, and ongoing account support.
- Maintain customer-specific product catalogs, pricing files, item attributes, and product content across multiple business systems.
- Review customer product assortments to identify sales opportunities, assortment gaps, pricing recommendations, and opportunities to increase share of wallet.
- Analyze customer purchasing trends and sales performance to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Coordinate customer implementations and program changes across Sales, Category Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and IT.
- Monitor catalog, pricing, and product information for accuracy while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare customer reports, business reviews, pricing analysis, and sales support materials.
- Maintain organized documentation related to customer requirements, pricing updates, catalog standards, and strategic account initiatives.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to improve business decisions, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, data quality, and overall sales operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience supporting Strategic Accounts, Sales Operations, Customer Programs, Pricing, Product Management, Category Management, or Sales Support.
- Experience within the automotive aftermarket, automotive parts distribution, automotive tools & equipment, industrial distribution, heavy-duty, paint & body, or other B2B wholesale distribution industries is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems, pricing systems, product information management systems, customer catalogs, or related business applications.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent work experience will be considered.
