Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Case Manager/Paralegal to join our growing law firm. This position plays a vital role in supporting attorneys and clients throughout every stage of the legal process (including Litigation through trial), ensuring efficient case management, accurate documentation, and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury case files from intake through settlement or litigation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Obtain and organize medical records, billing records, insurance information, wage-loss documentation, and other evidence supporting personal injury claims.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel as directed.
- Assist attorneys with drafting correspondence, demand packages, pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Manage a small team of Legal Assistants and staff to achieve efficient and successful outcomes for clients and their cases.
- Review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other case-related materials.
- Track treatment progress, case deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements.
- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research platforms.
- Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and settlement support materials for attorney review.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in personal injury law, insurance claims, medical records review, or litigation support strongly preferred.
- Understanding of personal injury case management, including pre-litigation and litigation processes.
- Experience obtaining and analyzing medical records and billing documentation.
- Familiarity with insurance claims, settlement negotiations, and demand preparation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Experience with case management software such as MyCase or similar systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
