Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, assisting with basic food preparation when needed.
- Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions accurately, handling cash register operations with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining environment for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; food service experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering skills are essential.
- Strong food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety management practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to perform basic math for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or retail environment is advantageous.
