Responsibilities: The Office Manager serves as a primary first point of contact for families and visitors to RISE Prep schools, by phone and in person. The Office Manager is a critical member of the school’s Operations Team and reports directly to the Dean of School Operations.
Specific roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following,

Serve as the lead on all key office responsibilities, including: mail, maintenance coordination, program and appointment scheduling, family events, logistical support, etc.

Manage the Main Office in regards to filing, visitors, and internal and external school communications

Provide administrative and operational support to team members and support families with informational or logistical questions

Maintain accurate attendance records, including scholar and teacher data

Manage and organize school supplies and storage and manage key operational systems as directed by the Dean of Operations or requested by other School/Network leaders

Required:

Hold high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

Prior relevant work experience

Exceptional verbal and written communication in English

Technological proficiency and comfort with using online platforms

Effective personal organizational systems

Speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish

Preferred:
-
Current enrollment in college coursework and/or has Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in education or related field

Strong interpersonal communication skills and efficient personal organizational systems, particularly pertaining to time and task management

Ability to approach situations with optimism, flexibility, perseverance, and calm demeanor

Knowledge of office equipment and services including computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, and phones

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and cloud-based database systems

Fluency in a language other than English, particularly languages spoken by RISE Prep families (e.g. Spanish, Arabic, French, Wolof, etc.)
