About Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition
The Florida Legislature created the Healthy Start program to establish, implement, and monitor local Healthy Start care coordination systems that provide women with access to prenatal care and wraparound services that promote healthy pregnancies, improve birth outcomes, and provide children from birth to age three with access to services that promote normal growth and development.
The primary objectives of the Healthy Start Initiative are to reduce infant mortality and morbidity, improve pregnancy outcomes, and enhance the health and development of children from birth to age three.
Be part of a mission-driven organization that directly impacts maternal and child health outcomes in our community.
