Job Description and Duties
- General short haul driver
- Transport sand, gravel, rock salt, blacktop and similar products
- Dump truck and/or trailer experience a plus
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Ability to follow directions and read a map
- Load and secure materials
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures
- Safely maneuver vehicles around construction sites
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Work as a team with other drivers, dispatcher, and all co-workers
- Good attitude and demeanor
- Maintain a clean truck
Job Requirements
- Must have New York State Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Experience driving multiple types of trucks
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Construction experience is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and experience
- Safe driving record
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

- Heavy & Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers: 2 years (Preferred)
