Community Horizons is assisting with hiring caregivers for a member living at home part of a self-direction program. She is looking for someone to come in home to assist her getting ready for the day, and again in the evening for supper and bedtime. Rewarding opportunity to swoop in and save the day for a community member in need! This position will be an as needed to help fill the gaps in coverage for 5A-7A shift or 4PM-9PM shift Monday-Sunday.
Tasks:.
- Assist with pivot transfers, non-ambulatory in wheelchair.
- Assist with meal prep, feeding.
- Assist with showering, getting dressed.
- Tag along to store in the evening
- Medication assistance
Ideal Candidate:
- Pass caregiver background check
- Reliable with flexible schedule
- Experience in caregiving
- Patience as member has speech delay
Pay: From $16.32 per hour
Work Location: In person
