Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice in a part-time capacity. The position will be start as two days per week, but will eventually turn into three as we continue to grow. Dentistry of the Ozarks is a private dental office with strong commitment to the community, our patients and delivering the highest quality work. The office has a very well trained and supportive staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to perform a variety of dental procedures. 1+ years of experience is preferred, but not necessary for the right fit. Excellent communication skills are required and endo experience is a huge plus. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Perform various dental procedures, including but not limited to oral surgery, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, with familiarity in areas such as prosthodontics, oral surgery, and root canal therapy
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients
