Job Overview
We are looking for sales floor staff who are excited and passionate about working in a fabric & sewing machine store! The person will greet and assist customers, sell all products, including sewing machines, help customers carry fabric and sewing machines, cut fabric, ring up orders, promote and other retail duties.
Qualifications
- Passion for sewing and quilting
- Sewing knowledge is helpful but not required

- Customer Service is a must
- Must obtain brand-specific training (provided)
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills to tactfully and professionally interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and outside the organization

Physical Demands
- This is a laborious position in which the employee is regularly required to have frequent quick movement including constant standing and walking. The position involves other regular movements including, but not limited to, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying
Work Environment
The employee is required to work in an environment that is fast-paced, busy and has moderate to high noise levels

Education
High School equivalent preferred
Compensation
Hourly Wage starts at $17.25/hour + Commissions
