Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, comprehensive healthcare management expertise, and proficiency in managing administrative and clinical functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, optimize practice efficiency, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including staff supervision, patient flow, and administrative workflows.
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, medical billing, and financial reporting to ensure practice profitability.
- Supervise healthcare staff, providing guidance on human resources practices, staff development, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with health regulation policies such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and OSHA requirements.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks for patient management and medical records documentation.
- Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery while managing patient management software systems.
- Oversee medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling, patient records management, and billing procedures.
- Foster a positive team environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and effective managerial communication.
Experience
- Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare practice management systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Opendental.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing healthcare teams in clinical environments with acute or hospital care exposure preferred.
- Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and medical billing procedures.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards.
- Experience managing electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and patient management software solutions.
- Prior roles involving healthcare staff management, human resources practices, and medical administrative support are highly desirable.
