BASIC PURPOSE:
Under minimum supervision, but in line with established policies and procedures, this position should be able to perform a broad variety of operational duties.
DUTIES OF POSITION:
As a Deposit Ops Rep, you will be an essential member of the BankFirst Operations team. As such, you will provide support to frontline staff with a variety of deposit related needs, including, but not limited to:

Review new accounts for accuracy and completeness

Perform maintenance on existing accounts, including:

Address changes
-
Account information changes
-
Account messages
-
Customer information updates/changes
-
Review and process account and customer documentation
-
Provide support to internal personnel
-
Review and check stop payments, AFTs, and holds
-
Key and process daily CD/IRA transactions
-
Review various daily reports
-
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
-
Performs multiple tasks, duties, and jobs within the department that permits to Deposit Operations
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:

Knowledge of personal computer programs such as word processing, spreadsheets, and other programs as required.

Ability to type accurately.

Ability to multi-task.

Highly organized, with an attention to detail and an aptitude for problem recognition and resolution.

Ability to adapt to technological changes and apply new knowledge to responsibilities.

Strong verbal and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills to properly handle customer problems and determine when the request for confidential information should be furnished or refused.

Good knowledge of departmental operations, policies and procedures, and computer-generated reports.
