Customer Service Representative needed for growing local insurance agency. At our family owned and operated agency we take pride in our commitment to caring for our clients. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.
Job Description: The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling incoming calls, from new and existing insurance accounts. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and carriers, and a thorough understanding of insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a portfolio of insurance accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims handling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide excellent customer service and addressing their insurance needs and concerns.
- Work closely with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage options.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Provide support to the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in the agency management system.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service position.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverage options.
